WELCOME TO REUNION MINISTRIES

Starting out

The Reunion family was born in 1995 as an initiative of some former high school students from St Anne’s Goto, Wedza, Zimbabwe.

The first group of campers had 19 members and this has consistently grown over the years. The traditional dates of 28th of Dec to the 1st of Jan have been faithfully maintained since December 1995. In 1996 the Reunion family agreed to go beyond former St Anne’s students. Parallel to this endeavour was the Cry For Zimbabwe Ministry launched in 1997 with the main aim of standing in the gap and lifting the country ZIMBABWE before God.

With the two ministries running parallel activities it became apparent that the same people were regulars in attending the events organized by these two groups. In the year 2000, discussions were initiated to merge Reunion and CFZ.

Merger

In 2001, the Reunion family merger with the Cry for Zimbabwe Ministries – adopting the name Reunion CFZ ministries. In 2003, the prophecy at St Faith’s that the ministry will go beyond Zimbabwe and in the same year, Mozambique sent representatives to camps (passionately remembered for their popular song: Dependera paMozambique).

In the year 2006, Zimbabwe AGM adopted the name Reunion Cry for Nations (CFN). The RSA family has rapidly grown since 2006/7 and had the pleasure to hosting the very first Reunion International conference held in RSA on December 2009 with close to 200 participants. The Reunion Ministries in Zimbabwe has continued to grow and we are.

The ministry has focused on youth, young man and women (married or single) and a recent development has been to provide spiritual and emotional support to single parents. The ministry has gone on to expand internationally with representations in countries like UK and South Africa.
